The Whitby representatives, ail from'the advanced recreation division of the club, will take patin the second annual Enterprise Ford invitational rymnastic nieet on Sunday, June Gymnasts from nine different- clubs, from as far as Parry Sound, will compete in vault balance 1ht-am, uneve-n hars and fîoor exercises. Awards will be presented for best individual performrance as well as top. team. Defending teamn champion is the Scar- borough Winstonettes club. The competition will be held at the Gemini club location, 853 Farewell Ave. S., Oshawa. Competitors are recreational gymnaste who practise for four to six hours per we. Gemini was founded in 1977 when it amalgamated with the Oshawa Gymnastic Club to become Oshawa Gemini Gym- nastics. In 1985 the Corsairs Gymnastic Club joined Gernini. In 1987, to reflect growing expansion in Durham Region, the club becaine known as Gemini Gymnastics. One-mile races wil ho held over a one-mile course. The races will be held from Rotary Centennial Park, Brock St. S. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., the 5kmn race starts at 10 a.m. Entry fees on race day are $6 prrace for aged 16 and over,$12 or ae 15 and under. Pairs races are $6 per race. There will be medals for oldest and youngest male and female participants in the 5km race.
