Developed by the students at the Durham Board Summer School of the Performing Arts, it incorporates music, drama and dance and examines such ques- tions as 'What do I do when high school is over?' 'What happens when I move out?,' 'When should I move out?' It looks'at relationships, parental pressures and much more, all from the viewpoint of students. "They spent a lot of time put- ting this together," says Bruce McGregor, principal of the per- forming arts summer school. "It is a culmination of the course." The only performance will be 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2 at Henry Street High School. Admission is free. "There are 40 students from all over the Durham. Region," says McGregor. "Most are Gr. 11 and 12 students but some are adults working to get credits. "Its a very intensive program for students interested in going into performing arts as a career or students 'wanting to find out about themselves." The course started July 4 and incorporated in the curriculum were two field trips, one to Strat- ford. to see 'Kiss Me Kate,' the other to the Ral Alex in Toronto to see 'Les iserables.' Borelians' performance for students The Borelians Community Theatre of Port Perry will stage a student evening performance of 'Death of a Salesman' in addition to production dates on Oct. 26, 27,28, Nov. 2, 3, 4. The student performance will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1873, corner of Queen and Lilla streets * in Port Perry. After tbe show, the Loman family will remain on the stage to answer any questions that students and teacbers may bave about tbe performance. Ticket prices are $5 for thiš particular performance only. There are 150 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
