Police charge assault victm A Toronto, woman has been charged with public mischief after a- sexual assault on Garden St. in Whitby early Monday morning Durhan Regional Police have arrested a man for the assault, but have also charged the woman when she would not iden- tifSr her attacker. Police said the wonian knew her attacker but withheld the information. A mnan was arrested by police investigating the incident. The. man returned te tthe soene later the samne day. Police said the ýwoman was walking along Garden St. when she was assaulted and pushed te, the ground. The man. then banged her head against the. pavement. -Yen Chow Jung, 30, of Dundas St. W. in Toronto, is charged with assault. The woman has been c"arged with public mischief. The Whitby and Brooklin legions will form the color .party for the ceremony while chaplain Robert Mansfield of the Whitby- Lgon Yffll make a dedication. Attersley will unveil the plaque. The Whitby Brass Band will also play, according to Inkpen, who served in the British navy during the war. .Inkpen will also comment on the life of S>tephensonand will briefly mention'the role Camp X played during the war. He expects the ceremony will last no longer than an hour. I.
