Peterborough, first place finishers during the regular sea- son, defeated Whitby 7-3 and then 10-9 to advance to the Ontario senior B finals over the Labor Day weekend. «They're a tough teai to beat," said Whitby player/manager Harold Moore about Peter- borough, a team he predicted would be formidable opposition in the EOBA final. Whitby finished the regular season with 13 straight wins to finish with 17 wins and five losses- for the season.
