Toy Run on Friday The fourth annual Toy Ruri, held by the Oshawa chapter of Harley Owners Group (HOG), wiIl be held from the Oshawa Centre on Friday, Oct. 6, 6 p.m. Motorcyclists taking part in the 14-mile parade in Oshawa will each display a new toy, purchased by the motorcyclist and donated to the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer Fund. The Oshawa forum is part of a croSs-country' tour by the six declared candidates seeking to replace Oshawa MP Ed Broadbenit as leader of the federal party. Brdadbent announced earlier this year that he would step do=na ader. A convention to, choose h s successor will be held in Winnipeg, Nov. 30-Dec. 3. Five MPs are running to replace Broadbent. They are Ian Waddell of British Columbia, Simon de Jà ngof Saskatchewan, Audrey McItaughlin of the Yukon, and Winsor area MPs Steven Landon and Howard McCurdy.
