These appointments give residents of Whitby a chance to volunteer their skills to help mun the Town. This year the Council is seeking individuals who are interested in serving on the following Boards or Committees: Board or Committee Fence-Viewer Groveside Cemetery Board Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee Plumbers' Board of Examiners Property Standards Committee ResponslbltIes To review matters relative to the standards for the erection and maintenance of line fences. To administer Municipal cemeteries. To research and promote the conservation of heritage properties, within the Municipality. To examine applicants for master plumbers licences. (Members of the Board of Examiners must be licenced as master plumbers by the Municipality.) To review matters relative to the standards for the maintenance and occupancy of property within the Municipality.
