She also visited the Museum, of Civilization to see various sculptures and statues. Reports of the annual conven- tion, held at the Royal York, were given by Aleta Cambeil. The theme was 'Partners in pro- gress.' Reports on the district direc- tors' meeting were gien. The Associated CountyWomen of the World recently celebrated their 6th diamond jubilee in Kansas City. A donation was given to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Nora Waler who died on Nov. 5. Hostesses for the next meeting will be Hilda Stanley and Elsie Gilrstma meeting and pot- luck dinner, will be held on Dec. 20, 12:30 p.m., at the Brooklin c ommunity centre. Motto will be 'May the spirit of peace fMI your heart with goodwill.' Roll cal will be 'Contributions can be made to the program.' There will be a gift exchange with alI vis- tors welcome. will take residents to the Brook- lin community centre where Santa Claus will greet visitors.
