The runner-up was the rink cf Skip Ron Cameron (Whitby) vice Murray Moynes, second bave Henderson and lead Bob Win- ters. Runner-up was the Lindsaf rink cf skip Kathy Brumwel, vice Bar-bKelly, second Nancy Graham and lead Eleancr Plewes. Thfrd was the Avonlea rink cf skip Ruth Nicholîs, vice M.A. Hicks, second A. Nanson and lead B.A. Ward Oshawa scored an empty-netter. Whitby outshot Oshawa 31-15 but.couldnt finish up on many scoring chances. In Whitby's third game, Paris epened up the period with a goal, but Heinirich scored on a feath- eredpass from Micheal Feret ta get Whutby's wbeels roling. A little later, McArthur scored for a one-goal lead, Heinrich and Feret each getting an assiat on the platy. Ini the second, Whitby initiated an ambush, with goals from McArthur, Andrew Mueller and another from l-einrich. Assista were tagged ta. Schlitt (2), McArthur and Danny Lynch. Paris managed ta net two goals in the second, putting the score at 5-3, before entering the third. Se hlitt opened up the third with a gal on a delicate pass f'rein ArturHeim-ich, a, stan- dout in the taurnament picked up another goal giving hlmi a bat trick. With minutes remaining Feret drilled one in ta get in on scoring barrage, the assista ta Jason Dickson and Scheepers. Paris scored another goal at the close of the game. The team will next see tourna- ment action in Bowmanville over the Christmas break. Silver, bronze for Foster Tiffani Foster competed in Santa Skate '89 which was. held in Port Carlin g on Dec. 9. She won silver in the junior bronze elementa and bronze ini the junior bronze free skate for ages l and ever. She will next see action in the 1'rst twomonth of the new year.
