No, I haven't gone crazy, but without these conditions, we'll ail be skiing on grass next Friday. Every year the whole school participates in a field trip to a.chosen ski area, and bas a choice of skiing either downhill, or uphili, I mean, -downhill or cross-country! Lt is a terrific experience for those *ho have neyer skied before, or for those in foreign counitries without snowfall. I hope everyone wilI return totally intact! A college governor, Swain bas been a member of Durham's nursing diploma and adjuvant advisory committees, as well as chairman of the RNA medication a dmi n itration committee. She is a former chairman of the provincial nursing committee OAHA, and Region 6 of the Ontario Association of Home for the Aged,- and bas served on provincial task forces. Cheryl Sanders is the new support staff representative. She is the public relations officer for the college, and a founding director of Durhamis alumni association. She was winner of the Canadian Public Relations Society Medal as top graduating public relations student in 1985. Chris Rout is the college's new student representative on the board. He is a first-year student in Durham's business administration programn. Sanders' tam is for three years and Rout's term is for one year. They>may-etzfoeri.e-letin.-, Anderson C.V.I. Mary Waterman I must admit that it took awhile for the students of Anderson to get back into the swing- of things after the Christmas holidays but when they did life at ACVI got back into the fast lane. Just a few days after the holidays ended our swim team went to a meet at the Pickering Complex and placed first overail beating the other teams by at least one hundred points. As well asj the swim team doing welI this year our hockey team bas won the last ehree of their games and it looks like the boys are headed for the finals. The students' council executive decided to start off the new year right by firstly informing the general assembly that the Christmias Dance was a great success and secondly bringing in timbits for the assembly to enjoy.
