It is the 'Ljambada,' the titie of a lut son g accompanied by a 8peca.style of music. This cat- chy and- lighthearted Brazilian, Caribbean mixture combines theé rhumba, samba and sooea, with touches of salsa and reggae. McQuay made two extensive trips ta Britain te photograph the stones in their environnient. During the Moset recent trip in the flu af 1989,' she travelled ta the windswept Outer Hebnides and Orkney Islands of Scotland. Shoestring Performers to present 'Aibertine' 'Albertine i îve thnes,' tbe Chalmers Award-winnm la p laywrigi1 M1ichel Tremblay, will be presentod at 8 p.m. on Frn- days and Saturdays, Feb. 23 and 24, March 2 and 3 at the arts resource centre, Osbawa City Hall Complex. This second production of the Durbami Shoestring Performers' l6th season will b directed by Carolyn Wilson and produoed by Jeannine H. Butler. The play explores tbe life of Albertine from te perspective of her loss of independence as sbe entors -a senior cîtizens' care faci- lity, looking back over five decades of ber life. Albertine at ae 30 will be played by Anne Waler, at 40- by Susan Lowery, at 50 by Dorotby Little, at 60 by Joan Roantree, and at 70 by Mr Volmer.
