The entire Eaton's store is being remodelled. Between now. and November, 1990' almost ail of the eisting store will be refurbished. Jerry Barrs, an Eaton's man for 40 years and manager at the Oshawa Centre since Nov., 1987, welcomes the renovations. He describes the overbaul as including 'new carpeting, new aisle patterns, new tiling,, new treatments -- everything newly refurbished and refixtured.' The rnerchandise and displays in 60 departments will refleet lifestyles. As example,' the refurbished Eaton's will consider the aging population with larger signage and color-coded sections for easier visual eues. The store will bè roomier with 7 foot aisies.
