Obituar.y- ,Aletha Ward of Whitby died on February 28, 1990, at Whitby General Hospital. She was 83. A residenit of Whitby f9rom 1954 to 1961,- and- then from- 1968 to 1990 Mrsé. Ward was a mnember of the Whitby Baptist Church where her h ua Iwas pastor. She is survived by sons Glenn Ward (and bis wife Joan) of Weston, Ross Ward ( and his wife Patricia) of Whitby, five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lvf. John Ward. 1 Visitation and *services- were held at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Henry Dyck.
