Bugeoli informed Town council Monay that a group identifying itself as Youth Against Drugs went through a number of Whitby subdivisions on the weekend seling okes and dis- tributing pamphlets. According to a pamphlet obtained by -ugelli, the money is te ho used for advertising, litera- ture, office spaoe and transpor- tation for the organization. Nowhere on the pamphet ces it say funds are intendeil for' research into drug abuse, nor does the group cali itself a charity. However, the pamphlet, does say that money is needed to keep the group's pro am a live. And police.havre told oBugelli that the organization operates legally; "We don't know thgroup. There was ne answer when the nuniber was cailed Tuesday, morning and afternoon.
