WHIITBY FRME PRESS, WEDNEBDAY, NOVEMRR 7,1990, PAGE 18 Soetens elected caucus chairman Rene Soetens, Ontario riding MP, has been elected chairman of the Ontario provincial caucus of the national Progressive Conservative Party. Ontario caucus, one of the largest provincial caucuses, includes as members 32 Progressive Conservative MPs, 14 Cabinet ministers and 10 Senators. As chairman, Soetens will preside over the weekly meetings of the caucus. The content and consensus reached at these meetings will then be reported to nationa caucus. The chairman's role also includes meetings with groups, organizations and individuals who are intersetd in assisting in the development of government policy on a wide range of issues.
