Since then the chorus lias. performed thre tmes, moot recently at the Pickering Arts Council"Gala 90" show Oct. 21. The show included sfingers and dancers from around the Durham ares.. The chorus, havig comZleted ail required steps, wi b officially chartered as a Harmony Inentonal chorus by Feb. 1, 1991. A charter party te b. attended by members of other choruses throughout region 16, is planned for Feb. 21, 1991. There are now more than 35 choruses in region 16. The 1991 region 16 chorus conipetition will b. held in April in Syracuse, N.Y. Eastsde Harmony chorus is now busy preparing two songs, a brand new. stage costume, and a showmanship package. Hopes are high to finish in the top 10. Eastside Harmony Chorus provides not only fiendship and fun te, its members but also a chance te realize personal potential as a perforer and singer. No prior expenience is required. Interested women aged 18 and over are invited to attend a rehearsal or ca]I for fuirther information.
