The Good Neighbours program from the Whitby Seniors-Activity Centre has oraized a Com- munity Festival Day for June 15. "A day when Whitby residents can return to traditional výalues,» says Fay -McCorkell, Good Neigh-. bours conimittee member. The day has been organized te help Whiby residents get out and meet others. "We want Whitby to realize that knowing the people in your communii1 is cool and ini," says Whitby schools will be involved with the day in some way or another, often providing formés of entertainment. Downtown Whitby will also be having fun and games of their own.
