The show will be held June 1 inside the Luther Vipond Memorial arena, starting at 2 p.m. .There- will be two separate catagories for girls and boys, in age groups of one to four months, four to eight months, eight to 12 months, 12 to 16 months and 16 to 24 months. The children will be sitting on stage with their momn or dad. "The format -has' changed from past years," says Amber Frost, contest director. 11She is using ideas that she had during her year as Miss Brooklin. There will be music playing for the kids, and littie Mr. Brooklin and Miss Brooklin banners will be awarded. *We also declded flot to have a twin category because there weren't that many twins around and we wanted to pool aur resources," says F rost. This years baby show wlll slrt at 2 p.m. on SatuRlay. The babies Will'be judge 1d1 for alertness, looks and character. Each contestant* will wln a prize,, but winners will -receive èrzs from a great selection, of -Items- donated by local Ursiesses. uWe have' quite a few p rizes this year because we, have. such great sonors," says Frost. Prizes include toys from Kimberly Clark, gift -certif ictes and baerne'rms must* be in before the day of the contest.
