The chamber is accepting nominations until 4pom. Sept. 27. The awards will be presented on Oct. 24 during the Small Business Week luncheon. Nominees for the Business Person of the Year must have made an outstanding contribution te the Town during 1990-91 and have been workcing and/or doing business An Whitby in 1990-91. They must be successful in their occupations. Previous winners include Irene' Westrik, Robert C. Heron, William D. Little, Nigel Schilling and Jim Souch. The Business Person of the Year Award is presented only when it is deemed by the Chamber of Commerce that a business in Whitby has demonstrated its good citizensip by* maldng 'an outstanding contribution te the Town and its citizens. Previous winners include Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village, McDonald's, Restaurant and Swish Maintenance.
