Homes on the tour: The 4Lynde Bouà e, Cugllen Gardeins Jabez Lynde, one of Whitby's first settiers, built this stately home between 1812-1814 and ran a tavern on the prenuses during the- war of-* 1812. The, Georgian-style, balloon-fiamed, timber construction features eight roins, eaeh with a fireplace. In 1986, the house was moved to Cullen Gardens from its Dundas'St. W. location. It has since been restored and decorated with authentic- antiques.
