GRrITA LE Gretta Amelia Lee of Whitby, a school teacher for many years before retiring, died at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Mofiday, Oct. 12, 1992. She was 85. She was born in Whitby on July 25, 1907 daughter of Will and Beatrice (Ã"ilmour) Graham. She began teaching at Almonda public achool' at -the Whitby-Pickering townline. She was one of the firat tea- chers at the old Coîborne Street public school when it opened in 1954, and was there until 1966 when she established the firat library -at E.A Fairman public She retired in 1972 after six years at Fairman. A lifelong Whitby resident,* she, was past matron of the'Eastern Star, Whitby chapter, and mem- ber of St. Marks United Church. 1She is surviyed by daughters Laura (Mis.
