While on tour the team wil have exhibition soccer matches against two club teains. ,n St. Petersburg, the teain will play the under-17 Hether and the under-19 University of Tampa Stars. They will aise compote in the International Youth Cup in Tam pa. When the team first arrives in Fborida they will ho staying at the Holiday Inn Gulfview in Clearwater Beach. Aside from regular teain acti- vities the students will go shop- pin g and to the beach. Also the teain will travel te Busch Gardons before leaving for Novices squeezed out of fina The Whitby miner novice AAA hockey teain was bounced from the eastern AAA finals over the weekend by dropping a hard-fought 4-3 decision to Peterborough at Kinsmen Arena in Peterborough. Strong lst overali in NCAA meet Whitby naive Lori Strong led. the University of Georgia omn 's gnnastics teamt a win over the Brigham Young University team at a recent NCAA meet. Strong, a freshman at the school, was flirst in the overal competition as she had a season-high 39.10 points for the four events. She had a 9.9 on bars and 9.8 on floor, as a member of the Georgia team that is ranked second in the U.S. Utah is the top-ranked team. Strong's performance was one of the fow bright spots in an otherwise poor showing by the Georgia team, known as the Lady Bulldogs. Tre veteran members cf the teain suffered five fails in events.
