Parents will find out what they can expect when they contact an agency and what they can do while they are waiting for service. The rights of parents and their children will be reviewed with regards te issues such as confidentiality, access to informa- tion and participation in decision- making. Some parents whose children are already receiving service may not feel it is the most appropriate service for their child or they may have run into difllculty with a particular agency or professional. This presentation will also provide tips on where te get help if these types of problems arise.
