The contest was not te pick the best, or most popular nurse, but te, show appreciaton for the nurses and the job they do. The five' inners were regis- tered nurses Brenda Murray Fran Fawcett, Gale Lalonde and Joyoe Coward, and regi stered hursing assistant Linda Hilie. Murray has been a nurse since 1965. She has a wide range of experience, having worked et Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Miserecordia Hospital in Edmon- ton, Aita., and Whitby Generai Hospital. Murray has been working at Whitby General for 20 years. She works in a ward where many things go on at once, such as surge and pediatrics. It is aise an IC ward.
