Page 5 Long-term care meetingfs schediiled The Durham Region District Health Council (DHC) has scheduled five community meetings in three different areas of the region to talk with its partners in the community, hoth providers and consumera of longterm care services, about the new provincial policy direction as it relates te planning for long-terni care implementation in the region. In early April, the provincal government released a long-terni care policy framework that empowers communities, through their district health councils, to plan for local long-terin care system change.
