Honda has a bike that fille the need with the VFR75OF. For me, this has te be one of the prettiest bikes on the road. Looking like an all-out racer, the WFR is a civilized bike with plenty of good road menners. The VFR's sleek design makes it comfortable to ride, yet its low riding profile makes one feel like a reel racer. The WFR le both stylish and functional, meking long rides much easier on the rider. Like the name implies, the WFR has a liquid-cooled, four- cyider, double-overhead cam V enine configuration. This is the sanie engine as Hlonda uses in V4 Magna, but retuned for lightly better performance. Power output on the WFR is about 110 hp. Exhaust is a four- "st ylish, civil ized" rear suspension.. Instead of two trailing armes holding the rear wheel, thie bike has only one. This suspension set-up is fully adjustable and allows for a single shock absorber. So if a comfortable ride, good looks and sporty performance are on your list when shopping for a bike, take a close look at the VFR75OF. I did and loved every minute of it. Coupled to this engine is a six- speed close-ratio transmission. During testing, I found it shifted quite smoothly in ail driving modes. This combination of brak- ing makes for strong, sure stop- ping power et any speed. One feature that really makes the WFR unique is its Pro-Link Cuts mean bad habits repeated The Community. Safety Councils of Ontario (CSCO) have expressed concern over proposed government funding cuts to high school driver education progree At CSCO's ennual general meeting on June 6, newly elected president Christine Burke explained that school boards may now be tempted to cut the prograrn comrpletely, rather than pass costs on te students. Although excellent commercial driving schools are available throughout the province, she noted many students will take the easy way out and not bother to get professional training. Ontario's high shi driver education program has been in laýce since the mid-fifties. Without the up-to-daté know- ledge end techniques ofl'ered by professionals, Burke said young pep 11wl repeat the bad habits of family mnembers and fiends Who teach theni to drive.
