Warriors avoided a sweep by the lege leaders in the first round of playoffs by defeating St. Catharines 11-10 in overtime at Iroquois Park on Sunday. St. Catharines had built a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, despite some fine play by War- riors in the first two gaines which ended 18-14 and 10-8 in favour of St. Catharines.
