Council's action was not prompted by Little's public criti- dasm of its decisions concerning future development in Brookhin, Edwards insisted. Earlier this year, council hired Little's company to develop an advertising and promotion pro- gram aimed at attracting indus- trial and commercial investment to the town. But meeting in closed session in July, council voted to end its agreement with Little. The latter's outapokenness on the Brooklin issue was cited as a major reason for canoelling the contract, various councillors told The Free Press.
