Apart from that, there are few changes. Juat about ail models, with the exception of the Crown Victoria! Grand Marquis, qet the new OFO-free air conditionmg. Taurus/Sable: Safety seems to be ail that is new for North America's top-selling modela. Both modela have passenger-side airbaga and bigger brakes. The 1992 modal year introduoed a mild sheet metal change, first ince its 1987 introduction. TempoTiaurus: Basically a carryover frinm last year for this famxly car. The big breath of life camne for these cars in 1992 with the introduction of the V6. This V6 really changes the car's per- formance, makng it much more fun to drive. Thunderbfrd/Cougrar XR7: Sorne noteworthy changes in these two sporty coupes for the new year. Both get nose jobs and taitl lghts and rear bumpers on the exterior. On the inside bath have been fully redesigned, in- cluding new gauges. Undar the hood the aid five- litre (302-cubic-inch)V8 has gone in favour of Ford's new 4.6-litre modular averhead cani V8. Lincoln Town Car: I honestly can't say toýo much about this luxury car since dual exhausts are ail that's new. Lincoln Continental: My favourite Lincoln gets a new grill, buxnpers (front and rear) and new tail lights. Changes for this modal should corna in the 1995 modal year. Lincoln Mark VUE Ail naw in 1993, this modal goas just about unchanged for the new modal year. A unique seat and outaide mir- ror memory systern has been added. When the seat memory recaîl button is pressed, the mir- rare also go back into position. Escortfl'raer. These twins get' airbaga added as standard eqluipinent for this year. New weel designs for bath will enhance stying in the upcoming year. Mustang: All naw shoot matai for this year's Mustang. The Mustang will coma in coupe and convertible, and in two trim levels. The base model will get a 145-horsepower V6 as standard equipment, while the GT will get the sanie five-litre V8 .with 215 horsepower.
