One-day fishing licence mtroduced Natural Resources Mfinister Howard Hampton announced Monday that, in response te requests frein Ontario's charter fishing boat industry, a one-day fishing licence for Canadian residents has been introduced. The ministry will make one-day sports fishing licences available for Canadian residenta in 1994. The new licence will cost $10 and, as an introductory offer, that fe. will include the coat of an outdoors card for those who don't already have one. The licence will ha available frein many charter-boat operaters, as well as regular licence-issuing outlets. The Ontario Charter Boat Association (OBA) first suggested the new licence. Hunting, fishing and teurism groupa were consulted before the new forin of licence was developed. "Many of our clients will only fiah one day a year, and as the new one-day licence will be available frein many charter-boat slippera, it will ha more convenient for the custemers te get licences when they arrive for their day's fishing," said OCBA president Dave Angus.
