But before the period ended, Richmond Ruil scored again and the first period ended 2-1. The second and third periods were close-checking and Rat Pack was unable to muster much of an attack on the Richmond Hill net. Richmnond Hill added a goal in each of the asat two perioda and skated to a 4-1 victory. Whitby gaine stars were speedstor Kevin Walsh, goaltender Kyle Nova and defenceman Robert Eberle. On Sunclay, Whitby faced a very tough Newmarket tean that leada their division with only one lbas this soason, and many of their victories have been very decisive. Again Rat Pack fought back totde the score, with Braflch once again fighting off Newmarket defenders in front of the net te score bis second of the night., 2 tie s for minor novices The Whitby minor novice AAA hockey teai dominated play against Markham Dec. 9 but had te sottie for a 3-3 tie. Goal-scorers were Grog Williams, Camn VonEschscholtz and David Arnold. On Dec. 11, WhIitby faced Peterborough in a nail-biting .gaine for the fans and a rough and tumble gaine for Wihitby players. Whitby stood tough and outplayed Peterborough, bt again tied 2-2. In the last six seconds of the gaine, Kyle Mussoînian had a breakaway but the puck was stopped inchos fromn the goal line.
