Grant Arnold Durham Regional Police Crime Stoppers and Durham Regional Police are askidng for the public s help in solving an armed robbery which occurred in Oshawa on WednesdAy, Dec. 1. At 5:30 p.m. a maie entered Fuller's Variety store at 286 Albert St. and tossed a plastic bag at the clerk. The suspect told the clerk te put ail the money in the bag. The suspect appeared to be very agitated and would net stand still.Tlhe clerk* was able te set off an alarm but the suspect got imatient and raised a batchet and swung it at the victim, telling ber he was going to kilt ber. The suspect grabbed somo small buis and loonies and then ran out of the store northbound towards King Street and thon on te, Wilkinson Avenue. The suspect 18 described as male, white- five foot seven inches te five foot nine inches tail, 150 pounde, medium build, age unknown. Ho was well spoken with a deep voice. Ho had dark brewn busly eyebrows, dark brewn eyes and wore an olive green balac ava with linos runnlng up and down. The suspect was wearing a grey or green cloth-type, hip-length coat, an inner coat with a grey-green hood, grey or black pants and ho wore grey or beige construction type wool gloves.
