Callie Coneal had three goals and five assista, Tanya Campeau two goals and four assiste, Lindsay Field two goals and one assist, Amy Sagan one goal and three assista and Amanda White a goal and two assista. The criterium (a bicycle race held on a flat, short course) wili cover 0.9 kilometre in an area bounded by Athol Street, Centre Street, John Street and Simcoe Street. There wiIl be flive race divi- sions, based on age: peewee (age 9 and 10) and minime (age il and 12), each racing 18 kilo- metres; cadet (age 13 and 14), racing 32 kilometres; junior (age 15P 16 and 17), racing 45 kilo- metres; senior (age 18 and over). The senior division wiil be made up category I and II men, racing 72 kilometres; category III men, 58 kiiometres; category IV men, 45 kilometres. Senior and junior women wil race 54 kilomnetres. The Whitby Audio major atoms, bolstered by an emotional win in a thrilling semi-final on Friday, defeated Alliston 4-2 on Saturday to capture the tournýL- ment chamiponsh*.p. Mike Kobyovièh scored two goals and Adam Ballard provided shutout goaltending as Whitby opened the tournament on April iwith a 5-O win over Orono. James Ellick, Blair Kelly and Brandon Ross also scored, Kobrynovich was named most valuable player. On Ai 2, Whitby 6rôt three goals from Ellick, the gaine MVP, in a 6-4 win. Kobrynovich, Jonathan Langford and Ianý Archibald also scored. In the Apr*1 8 semi-final, Whitby and Richmond Hill were tied 3-3 after regulation time, Ellick with two goals and Archi- bald with one. In sudden-death overtime, with each team losing a skater after evey two minutes, Whitby was penalized. Whitby. took advantage as Shawn Jimmo scored the win- ning goal and earned MVP honours. In the final, Archibald scored two, Eliick and Blair Kelly one each. Kevin Connoily, named most improved.player in the Whitby mjratom league, set up Ellicks winn*g oa in the final and was named MvP.
