Page 2, Whitby Free Press, Wednesday, September 14,1994 Whitby men rescue swamped anler Two Whitby men pulled a 71- year-old Burlington man fromn Pigeon Lake Wednesday after his boat was swamped. Ontario Provincial Police say Larry Anthony was fsshing alone in his 10-foot boat around 2:30 p.m. when it was swamped by a wave and he was thrown into the water. His clothing became entangled in the propeller and Anthony, who wasn't wearing a life jacket, received a deep gash te one arm, police say. He was spotted about a haif heur later and recued by Richard Macapcal and Keith annarilli, two Whitby men who were fîsh- ing nearby. They g rave Anthony emergency first aid -and called an ambu- lance, which took him te hospital for treatment.
