9 1f I [j i fi b Time is running -out to nominate citizens for the Business Person and Good Corporate Citizen of the Year, says the Whitby Chamber of Commerce. .The chamber is accepting nominations for the Business Person of the Year and Good Corporate Citizen Awards until Oct. 7. The awards will be presented on Oct. 27 during the annual awards dinner. Norninees for the Business Person of the Year must have been working and/or doing business in Whitby in 199»/4. They must be successful in their occupations. Previous winners include William D. Little, Nigel Schilling, Jim Souch, Cris Douglas, Tom McTeague and Rob Morton. The- Business 1erson of the Year Award is presented annually. .The Corporate Citizen Award is presented. only when it is deemed by the Chamber of Commerce that a business in Whitby has demonstrated its good citizenship by making an outstanding contribution to the town and its citizens. Previous winners, include Cullen Gardens' and Miniature Village, McDonald's Restaurant, Miracle Food Mart, Swish Maintenance, Buffett ¶Taylor' Associates and the Royal Bank.
