There are programs for chil- dren aged throe and over ('Learn te Skate'), and skaters can ascend up te the advanced go!d and diamond dance programs, in addition te competitions held almost weekly. Area skaters compote in a sec- tionals competition and, if successful, advance te divisionals and beyond, right up te the Canadian championships. More carnivai s and ice shows are planned for aIl skating levels. The Whitby Miner Hockey Auxiary will hold their annuni sweater dance at Heydenshore Pavilion, Whitby, on Saturday Nov. 12, from 8 p.in. te 1 a.m. There will be a catered buffet, disc jockey and door prizes.
