The newv recipients bring the total number of student-athietes on schlarship to 53, including athletes already on scholarship from previous years who have successfully maintained ail selection criteria. The Durhamn College athletic department ' awards athletic schlarships in seven- sports: basketball (men's and women's) volleyball (men's and women's) soccer (men's and womnens) and women'asosftball. The value of each scholarship is $800 (basketball and volleKball) and $500 (soccer and softbail) each year the student athiete attends Durham College and successfully meets the selection criteria. A student athiete mnust be a member of the varsity teain and ,must maintain a 2.0 overali grade pint average te receive the sholarship.
