Each donated bulb will be used te, replace a white bulb on the trees which were lit during the tree-light ceremony on Dec. 2. The AIDS Committee of Food drive Downtown businesses Pimen- tos and LaFontaine Trading Post are accepting canned food items in a Christmas drive to benefit Denise House, the home for abused women and children. Party with Santa The Whitby Optimist Club invites children of aIl ages (including niom and dad) te join Santa for a breakfast party on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. te noon. The party will be held in the Whitby Triple Link Unity Club at 210 Brock St. S. beside the fire hall. No pre-registration is necessary. Mrs. Claus will help the Optimists prepare St. Nick's favourite breakfast -- pancakes, sausages and beverage. The cost is $2 for children and $4 for adults (ail you can eat).
