Th society is lookting for ways te, continue services at present levels through corporate donations and also seeks volunteers for the fund-raising campaign. Te campaign includes direct mail letters te recent volunteers and local businesses. The key target audience will be new volunteers who want te malce a différence in their community. The society offers srea programs such as,,'demployment counselling' -and 'crime prevention.' Although some programs are funded by* the United Way, the socety must raise funds te upgrade their, facilities and equipment. The not-for-profit organization is also looking for interested individuals from various areas of expertise te volunteer as board members. Applicants will be required te attend monthly evening meetings te, develop, approve and evaluate agency -policy. Members are expected te, be informed on organizational matters, debate issues and> contribute teo verail meeting agendas.
