With only 17 school days (three-and-one-ha]f weeks) left many spring sports are coming te the end of their seasons. On Friday, May 12, the boys lacrosse team. took Pereyma for a win. Goal scorers Derek Suddons, Wes Suddons, Rohan Mehta, A.J. Shannon, Ron Death, Justin Aitken and Zac Aitken led the Hawks ta score il goals over Poreyma's 3. Also on Friday, the girls rugby -teain played in the Chinguacousy Cup. In the three preliminary gaines, the Hawks outscored their opponents 32-0. At the end of the final, which consisted of even play throughout the 30-minute game, two five minute overtime peinds and four penalty kicks, the Hawks and the teamn from Barrie North decided to share the championship. The midgot bos< rugby team defeated Henry Sret12-O last Tuesday and oarned a much-convetod spot in the LOSSA playoffs. Members of Austins artistic élite wiil b. gathered on one stage as the annual MAD (Music, Art and Draina) Festival is presented tomorrow night.
