After a slow start this season, he raised bis performance at the Ontario championships on July 16 in Peterborough te linch a spot on the provincial teain for juniors (undor age 20). Unlike 1994 wben ho came off winter training in Texas and peaked early in, the Ontario season, this year Sigsworth put bis training into higb gear only after ho finished bis freshman studies at McMaster in April. Under private coaching this season, ho bas been working more te imnprove bis form to a- competitive level in the elite (pro) division where ho now races except forjimior chaxnpionship meets. Hlis conditioning is assisted by Oshawa's International Managed Health Care. At Peterborough Sigsworth raced for two hours against many of the fastest junior triathletes in gtour Jef Gunn of the Dalewood Golf Club is the overali leader of the Taylor Made Junior Golf Tour after the third event held last week at Thunderbird in Ashburn. Gunn ehot a 77 and bas 174 points. Second is Bryan McNair of the Oshawa Golf Club with 167 points and third is Brent Goulding of Peterborough with 161. The championsbip, final saw Whltby defeat Aurora 3-0 - a fit and rested Whitby team was determined te make amenda for their earlier round-robin loss te Aurora. SSmith (fIve), Forbes (four) and Rachel Spear (four) were the main goal-scorers of the tournament. Tireless defensive performances by Stacy Sehope, Kristen Cavanagb, Kirsten Walker, Danielle Dimtses and Nicole Pottinger allowed Whitby to prevail.
