The team roster this season aiea includes Michael Drake, Scott Freeman, Brandon Jolinston, Cameron Lomax, Daniel Malta, Trevor McKlnney, Ian McMurtrie, Clayton Pendlebuzy, Eric Regan, Jay Rorabeck, Coi-y Rose and Michael Tureski. The Whitby major bantam AA hockey team, sponsored by the Foran Disposai Corp., rallied from three-goal deficits to win two games in lbague play. Barrie led Whitby, 3-0 before Whitby got on track in the second period, scoring three goals. In the third period, Barrie, doubled Whitby in neediless penalties and Wildcats went on to score two more goals to earn a 5-3 victory. Ryan McArthur had two goals, sinigles to Brion Hencky, Paul Heinrich and Luke Power. DeekAckford and Paul Matusi*ak each earned two assista. Hendry was a scoring threat in short-handed situations, and Mc.Arthur continued bis hot scoring pace. In Belleville, Wbitby feUl bebind 3-0 at the end of the first period, but two power play goals Whitby got Whitby back in the game. Wildcats trailed 4-2 with 2:16 left to play, but Whitby pounded in three'goals in 1:12 to steal a 5-4 victoiy. McCarthur had two goals, singles going ta Sam Scheepers, Ackford and Bob Schlitt. The team's record às now 4-3. and awards at varlous track throughout Ontario. For the 1996 season, Osier wii be leaving kart racing anc competing in the open whee modified class at Mospor Speedway. Whitby defeated Aurora 6-2 on goals by Aaron McMurray, Wayne Turcotte, Brad Arbour, Ryan Jolinston, Colin Harvey and Sean Cunningham. Jason Michie had two assista and Kyle Simpson was strong in net, In a penalty-ffied contest, Whitby defeated Ajax 4-1. Jefi Freeman scored twice, Andrev Lebel had a goal and two- assisfi and Colin Harvey had threei assista. McMurray had the othex goal.
