Sunday's championship game started with London scoring firstY Leus than one minute. later, Whitby tied the score and the team neyer lookéed back. Superb defensive work, accurate passing, aggressive forechecdng and eolid goaltending led Whiîtby ta a 7-1 score and the gold medal. Goalie Meghan Rodger had a great weekend in net and earned a shutaut. Emily Mountjoy ifled in for Rodger in the iret game. The two goalies only allowed eight goals in the four games.
