"I have to know how to divide time," explains Toscano. She is involved with the Rotary Club of Whltby - Sunrise, sponsors of the exchange program, is on the school's swim team, and when she hais a chance, enjoying ail Canada bas to offer. Brazil recently oelebrated Carniaval, a five-day party. However, says Toscano, "1'm not homesick. Every day is eomething new here." Through the Rotarians, Toscano will attend a Maple Leafs hockey game, , go on various trips throughout Canada including a one-month trip by bus te British Colunbia starting on June 26, and bas already gone skding, skating, and tobogganlng. Toscano especially erijoys watching television and going te the movies; Brazil receives many of the same television programa, but here "At the same time you watch TV, you are learning English.n kiAugust TScano will return te Brazil, but says ber one-year Canadian experience will bo a lifetime memory.
