Winterbourne, playing in theatres. The production, which stars Shirley Maclame, RikkI Lake and Brendan Fraser, was shot last summer at Parkwood and at other locations ini the area. While Tim. J. Kelly's script je a littie talky in parts, the convoluted plot provides ahl the requisite twists, red herrings and suitable suspects for a satisfying evening of guess-the-killer. There's more than enougli clever dlues ta keep all the armchair detectives busy right to the climax. A handful of people are drawn together in a rambling old New England lodge 15 years after a grisly murder. 0f course, more foui deeds are sure ta, follow, complete with a violent storm, unexpected visitors and secret passageways. A.T. Elliott je an old'hand at directing, and it shows in the assured performances and solid pacing. While the cast work well together, one performance je worth the price of admission. Judith Edmondson has long been a reliably entertaining performer and director ini local theatre, and she steale the show here as; the acidfly arrogant Mrs. Aubert.
