The group's 50 members are interested ni juet about, every outdoor activxt going, firom hlk- ing and. camping to canoeing, sea kayaking, 'rock-climbing and cycling. «It's basically people who like to, go i the fresh outdoorsand like to stay phys;ically fit, but with other people instead of wan- dering around alone in the woods or somethingý like that," says executive member Dianeë Max- well. Recent treks include hlking the Bruce Trail, a 10-day canoe and camping expedition down the White River and kayaldng near Parry Sound. Originally called the Outers Club, the group was started by Bill Gibeallt;, former owner of, the OQutdoor Inn in Whitby, about threyears ago.
