After a busy summer of peiformancms throughout the region, the Whitby Seniors Jubilee Choir W-111 launch its fall activities on Wednesday, ep.18 by sponsoring a day- long workshop for persons of ail ages who love te sing and W'ouid like te polish their * kills. * Principal instructor for the workshop, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. te 5 p.m. at the Whitby Seniors'. Activi ty Centre, will be Sherman Britten of Cleveland, Ohio. Britten, former music minister at Calvary Baptist Church, Oshawa, wiil lead the participants as a group through a number of selections,' sharing bis musical knowledge of what it takes te be a better choristr. At the end of the day, the participants wiil perform as a choir te demonstrate what they have learned. Al are welcome.
