Police auy a man crashed a party in a room at Travel- Lodge Oshawa, 940 Champlain Ave., and was escorted out by one of the partygoers. He returned with a knife and attempted to stab the man, police say. The intended victim suffered cuts A 39-year-old Whitby resident was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and threatening death. The Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee (LACAC) has had discussions with staff conceming the building's marketability.
