The folowing are some tips for studying English and math. Studying English: 1) Begin to .study early by re-reading the texts, especially work read early in the term. 2) Review ail notes. 3) Make lists of characters and explain how each character fits into and affects the plot. Do character sketches of major characters. List details of setting. List events cf the plot. 4) Memorize definitions of major literary terms. 5) Practice answering an essay question, noting thesis statement, outlining, editing.
