William Twelvetrees told Whitby Town Council in a letter that the construction of the sewers is planned for 1982. However, Peterhead Holdings, Ltd., who own the property north of Elizabeth Crescent, must develop its lands first. Residents of the crescent, just west of Thicksons Road, have been fighting for sewers for many years but have been told that the region would have to cross private property to bring them to their homes. Should the company develop the land, sewers could be brought southward to serve Elizabeth Crescent. s s 1 sIE sUNTR -'I ak S1251H ANNIVERSARY 1855-1980 THE CORPORATION 0F THE TOWN 0F WHITBY TOWN 0F WHITBY MUNICIPAL OFFICES CLOSED CIVIC DAY- MON DAY AUGUST 4th, 1980 GARBAGE COLLECTION GARBAGE WHICH WOULD NORMALLY BE PICKED UP ON MONDAY, AUGUST 4th, 1980, WILL BE COLLECTED ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 5th, 1980.
