WHITBY FREE PRESS, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 1980, PAGE 19 Seniors arranged trips for August 3Oth Anniversary July 19, 1980, marked the 3th wedding anniversary of Mr. & Mrs. William (Bll) Balcom of 129 Cedar St. in Whitby. Wedding vows were exchanged at Saint Ann's Church, Lot 65, Prince Edward Island, on July 19, 1950. Rev. Maurice Mc- Donald officiated. The bride wore a white satin gown, which had a scoop neck that was covered in lace to above the bodice. Her headpiece was a tiara that held a three-quarter length scalloped veil. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses, tied in a white satin bow that feli to the floor. The groom wore his army uniform, as he was serving in the First Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. The maid-of-honor was Doris McDonald, sister of the bride, and Alfred Waddell was best man, good friend of the groom's. Balcom is the eldest son oi Wilie & Bertha Balcom of Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia. Mrs. Baicom is the daughter of the late Dominick & Mary McDonald of Prince Edward Island. i3ill and Theresa Balcom have six. children.
